chelsea, nyc.

I was very cultured today and visited two galleries in Chelsea to see William Eggleston's and Richard Misrach's photographs. Eggleston's use of color and composition to illuminate life's small moments and Misrach's inversion of light and dark in landscape photography resulted in some very striking images that I really liked!

I also saw A Single Man (directed by Tom Ford, with Colin Firth and Julianne Moore). It was an extraordinarily beautiful movie to watch (not surprising given a fashion designer directed it) and almost like a photography catalog or editorial fashion spread in motion.

Just some personal musings for the good old blog.
